Simplicity Patterns Details
I cut out and sewed a size 12 with no alterations, and I even put the shoulder flounces on per the design. The size 12 was too big and I ended up having to cut out about 4 inches. Other reviews I've read said that you have to make any adjustments to the bodice and skirt separately because the side seams don't line up. However, I just decided to brave it and took all of the extra fabric out at the back middle before I put in the zipper. Thankfully, this worked out fine. And though my bodice side seams aren't on the side anymore, you don't notice
